New Zealand Vs England Cricket Series 2008


New Zealand Cricket History:

New Zealand cricket team is also known as Black caps. New Zealand cricket test debut is in 1929-30 against England as a fifth test cricketing nation. First win for New Zealand cricket team in test is against West Indies in 1956-55 in their home country.

England Cricket History:

England got their test status in 1877 with Australia, as one of the first nation to get the test status. They have won 301 tests upto now in 867 test matches. Their national team is managed by both the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Total Test Matches between New Zealand and England:

Up to now total 82 test matches were played between these two sides. England has played 760 tests and on other hand New Zealand have played 270 tests.

New Zealand and England Current Series:

Currently New Zealand is touring England. They play 4 tour matches with Marylebone Cricket Club, Kent, Essex and England Lions. Then they play 3 tests and 5 ODI’s along with a 20-20 match with England. After that they proceed to Scotland to play a match with Ireland and Scotland respectively.
